This year is a Bands Only Competition
5th Annual BATTLE OF THE BANDS
April 6, 2024
Battle of the Bands will be on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 3pm. Performances will be in the Centre Theatre, 110 S. Bickford Ave., El Reno. Deadline to register: March 31, 2024.
***Unfortunately, this year we will only be able to accommodate bands, however, our 6th annual Battle of the Band is scheduled for March 28, 2025 (for Solo Musicians) and March 29, 2025 (for Bands). Mark your calendars!***
This year's prizes:
Grand Prize - $500; a prime timeslot to perform on the Clara Bushyhead Stage (Main Stage) at the 36th Annual Burger Day Festival on Saturday, May 4, 2024; and a Band Promo Session with DAS Photo. The Burger Day Festival is a one day event that typically has $20k+ visitors.
2nd place - $400
3rd place - $300
Round 1: Please prepare 2-3 songs with different styles. They can be covers, originals, or both. Each band will have 20 minutes on stage. If you move on to round 2 you’ll be expected to play 2 additional songs with the same criteria as round 1. You’ll be allotted a total of 30 minutes, including setup and Teardown. If you need more time please let us know. We are trying to get a drum kit that will be left on stage for all bands to use. If you have one that we can use for the day please let me know. **VERY IMPORTANT**This is a family event. All lyrics and behavior must be family friendly. If any offensive language or gestures are used you will immediately be disqualified.
